360° (2020) is a young adult novel published by Midsea Books that offers an innovative narrative exploring a complex relationship through letters. It tells the story of a friendship between a young Maltese girl and a British man. The novel won the Youth Literary Award.

Il-Ħamsin

Il-Ħamsin (2021) is a special edition book edited by Ġorġ Mallia celebrating the 50th anniversary of Midsea Books (or Klabb Kotba Maltin). Featuring contributions from 24 authors, each story is inspired by the number fifty. Josianne contributed ‘Kitbet Kilbiet’, an unconventional short story that explores both familiar addictions and less typical ones.

Il-Ġlieda kontra Phoenix il-Kattiv

‘Il-ġlieda kontra Phoenix il-kattiv’ (2023) is a story written by a group of secondary students attending the Naxxar Induction Hub, part of the Migrant Learners’ Unit. Josianne worked hand-in-hand with this group of migrant students, encouraging them to further develop their skills in the Maltese language. The book is aimed at other foreign students learning Maltese and was published in collaboration with the National Literacy Agency.
